Open File Explorer by clicking the folder icon on the taskbar or pressing Windows + E.
Navigate to the folder you want to pin.
Right-click on the folder and select “Pin to Quick Access.”
It will now appear under the Quick Access section in the left pane of File Explorer.
2. Unpin Folders from Quick Access:
In File Explorer, right-click any folder listed under Quick Access.
Select “Unpin from Quick Access.”
This removes the folder from the section.
3. Reorder Items in Quick Access:
Click and drag a pinned folder to rearrange it in the list.
Release it where you want it to appear.
4. Customize Quick Access View:
Right-click on the Quick Access section in the File Explorer sidebar.
You can choose to “Expand” or “Collapse” the Quick Access view.
To set which items show up automatically, click on “Options” (three dots at the top of File Explorer), and in the Folder Options, adjust:
Show recently used files in Quick Access.
Show frequently used folders in Quick Access.
5. Clear Quick Access History (Optional):
If the Quick Access section is cluttered, you can reset it:
Open File Explorer, click the three dots at the top, and select Options.
Under the General tab, click Clear next to “Clear File Explorer history.”
6. Add or Remove Quick Access from Navigation Pane (Optional):
In the Folder Options, under the View tab, scroll down to find “Show Quick Access in the Navigation Pane.”
Check or uncheck the box based on your preference.
This setup will allow you to organize and streamline your Quick Access bar on your OMEN PC running Windows 11 for easy navigation.
