After receiving a strong desire to research Eartha much was discovered. This beauty was known for her distinct and unique voice. But, mostly for her strength of character. Eartha was born on a cotton plantation in South Carolina, and was beaten too many times to count. She was born to a slave master that did not give her any recognition, and a mother who abandoned her. Destiny led her out of that experience. Eartha Kitt went on to sing in eleven (11) different languages. Kitt also spoke five (5) languages. After, listening to her speak in my mind she was genius.
Eartha Kitt is famous for:
- Kitt was the first musician to record “Santa Baby” which is still a hit today.
- First person to play Catwoman in Batman.
- Distinctive voice, including a purring sound she made. To this day no one has been able to copy her style. Eartha said that she got her purr while practicing other languages.
