The rules of Feng Sui found below will show you how to Feng Shui your bed and place it correctly within the room to keep good energy flowing through your bedroom, and in your general surroundings.

General Guidelines

Here are some general guidelines, and rules of Feng Shui, along with important Feng Shui tips for creating a bedroom with Feng Shui color.

The Layout

 For your bedroomFengShui layout:
  • Do not place your bed along a wall aligned with the toilet (eithier within the room and/or on the other side of the room).

Keep the space clean, the sheets crisp.

There should be a place for everything, and everything should be in its place.  If you do not have room for and or a specific place for something, it could be a sign that it is time to get rid of it, give it to charity, or purge yourself of it.

Bed Placement
  • Your beds headboard must be supported by a wall.
  • Have the beds headboard facing the door, but not directly in front of the door.
  • Leave room to move about on both sides of the bed.
  • Place some sort of anchor on both sides of the bed.  Side tables work well.

If you have a closet, or bathroom within the bedroom keep these doors closed. Both of these rooms hold their own energy, and should be contained.

Electronic Currents
  • Remove as many electronic gadgets as possible in your Feng Shui room.
  • The electric currents moving about in the room affect the peaceful air flow.
  • Get into the habit of unplugging all electronics that are not being used.

Lighting

 Lighting is important in the room.
  • The lighting should be natural light.
  • Use natural lighting during the day as much as possible.
  • Use candles in the evening, odorless if possible.
  • Try to stay away from florescent lighting.
  • Lighting is used to provide energy, and nutrients for the soul.

Artwork

 If you want to get married don’t put up a picture of yourself, or anyone else alone.In other words don’t put up a portrait of any single person, flower, or any one thing standing, sitting, or any other scenario.Instead put up an image of a couple in love, or two flowers intertwined.
