When you are praying to a Saint.  You are telling that Saint that you are in need of favor from God.  You are telling that Saint that you are trying to do everything possible to ensure you receive greatly.  You are asking that Saint for help, the same way you would ask your earthly friends.  Except this friend has powers that your earthly friends do not have.  A saint has already gained favor from God, and God certainly hears their prayers.  

When you are praying to a Saint you are asking the spirit of the Saint to intercede for you.  It is different from a Novena, because in a prayer you are not offering yourself as a living sacrifice.  When reciting a Novena, you offer yourself as a living sacrifice because it is said over many days, and with St Jude you also make it publicly known that he has helped you.

When you are praying to a Saint, you are asking that Saint to pray with you.  When you have someone that intercedes for you.  You have a partner that will ask God to bless you.  God says “when any two are in agreement, and are in my will, it will be done for them.”  

• Having an intercessor will help your blessing manifest quicker. 
• Having an intercessor that is a saint will ensure that your blessing is heard, above others.

St Jude Saint of the Hopeless and the DespairedSaint of the Impossible Desperate Situations, Terminal Illnesses, Hospitals St Jude is said to be the brother of Jesus.  He received the holy spirit, with the apostles of Jesus.  People began to ask St Jude for help when many went to his graveside, and prayed.  It was at this time they began to receive powerful blessings, which they attributed to the intercession of St Jude.  His feast day is October 28, the day of his martyr. Directions:   One full Saint Jude prayer consists of: Saint Jude Glorious Apostle Faithful Servant (1x)Hail Mary with the St Jude Invocation (on each bead)Ending PrayerUse nine (9) beads, chaplet.  Say this prayer when ever you want.  This prayer is especially good to say when you are having busy days.

It is very common to thank St Jude after receiving the answer to your prayer, by publicly posting a thank you to St Jude in your local newspaper.
